When am I charged for a preorder?
You pay $149 when you preorder. Shipping is charged separately when your order ships in November 2026. After launch the price goes to $250.
Does it work without Wi-Fi or a smartphone?
Yes. Set the schedule on the pillbox. Alarms, voice prompts, slot lights and the dose log all work with no phone and no Wi-Fi. Family alerts, app history and remote scheduling need Wi-Fi.
How long does the battery last?
DEFI 14 stays plugged in via USB-C, so it never needs charging. If the power goes out, the built-in backup battery keeps alarms, slot lights and the dose log running for about 3 days.
Can family members monitor my medication?
Yes. Invite family or caregivers to your DEFI circle, and they'll see every dose taken, missed, or delayed in real time. If a dose is missed, push notifications go out automatically.
Is my health data secure?
We never sell or share your medication data. You choose who sees your schedule and can revoke access anytime.
What if I take medications 3-4 times daily?
DEFI 14 has 14 slots and up to 10 daily alarms. For 3x or 4x daily schedules, load each slot with one dose time and refill every 3–4 days instead of weekly.
A slot can hold several pills. What if I only take one?
Each slot fits about 10 pills. DEFI uses IR sensors to detect whether a slot has been opened, not to count individual pills. Load each slot with everything you take at one dose time, one pill or ten.
